Goddess of Belly Dance

She moves with sensuous grace.
There is something in the way she shimmy’s
as her hips curve and weave a tapestry of intrigue,
her tummy quivers with the nuance of style,
she sparkles with blue and red, a gold flower.

Her delicate lips pout and break into a smile
and she kisses the air as her arms slide snake-like,
on fire she is a Goddess of feminine intent.
She flirts with a playful wink
and we are all seduced.

With exotic music as her partner
she performs with unabashed sensuality,
her stomach full of tummy power,
she touches her inner core and ignites
all that see her in flight.

Her profile is fine and feisty
with glistening energy she is
a delicate powerful woman confident
in her feminine power, she dares us
to hold her stare for the period of the dance.

Her silver belt tingles and jingles
rippling with fluid energy,
her hips move up and down,
side to side as her bracelet stutters and clicks,
her moves flow and fall over her audience.

Her mind is intoxicated by the eastern beat.
Her eyes brown are full of sensual feeling.
She is the seductress of our hearts,
the guide to our primal odyssey,
she enchants and fascinates.

Her curves are voluptuous and womanly
as she struts and flows into patterns of life.
Inhibition disappears as her mystery unravels,
she takes us on a journey that transcends
the real world into the realm of fantasy.

She is the priestess, the goddess,
the feminine spirit and
where she leads we follow
as fears and restraint disappear,
we are free to fly and dive.

She is the mistress of our exotic dreams,
the sway in our erotic fantasies.
She is the feminine in all it’s glory
confident and proud,
if we dare she moves us beyond ourselves.

She prances and is playful leading us to exuberant life.
She radiates light from her core
and inspires a luminous energy
that sparkles and intensifies
our grasp on life.

Her moves, her curves, her fire
enchants our imagination
and breathes new life,
new heat into our hearts
and jolts our thoughts into mental freshness.

She overflows with joie de vivre
as she emanates a glorious sensuous pleasure.
Her smile breaks our hearts and
reminds us of what bliss it is to be free.
Her dance is her gift to us and we revel.

About Anthea Slade

Creating art and writing is like breathing to me, it keeps me alive. If I stop creating my world shrinks and contracts. When I start to create again it expands and is filled with colour. I feel whole. To create is to be completely, unabashedly alive.
