About my exhibition
The woks exhibited represent the linkup of two artists, a photographer and a sculptor. Such an attempt to blend two spheres of art is really innovative and a bit unexpected. There had been few who were successful in such an attempt. Both authors, blending their art by the means of the photo art, are the winners. Sculpture, as such, is rather a static art, sometimes “performing” in a specific, sometimes artificial, environment. However, the means of the plastic photography, seemingly, make the sculptures movable, dynamic; they make you feel the sculptures are moving. They become alive, start moving and react both to the environment and the views captured by the photographer. I would like the viewers also note the colour solutions of the photos, aimed at the strengthening of the overall impression of the imagery. The original blend and overlapping of two arts let see the impressive plastic metaphors, giving birth to various associations.

the old man rubbed his eyes … he was not asleep .. he knew that .. but there up there in the light .. yes the tree it had a face … and why not said the tree … the old man rubbed his eyes again and shook his head as if to ward off the voice he had heard … again the tree spoke … I am older than the oldest of men … i have seen more that could be told in your lifetime …. come listen … but the man not believing his eyes or his ears ran from the tree and out of the woods … the tree only sighed .. there is time and there will be others he said aloud to the birds as they perched on his branches ... don’t speak the birds replied for no man will allow himself to believe and listen … the old tree only shrugged and the birds flew off into the sky …
this work of yours will always be a favorite of mine … the standing people have much to teach us but most will not listen …

I always mean it in a positive way. And in all, it’s just my perception anyway.
Impact (does it grab attention?): very strong
Composition (use of space, lines): superb
Subject matter: very interesting
Focal point: the lips.. mysterious
Style (story): very strong mystery
Lighting: superb use of naturallight
Color balance: like the limited color range which adds to the atmosphere
General: wonderful
