Lest We Forget by Ann Van Breemen
Remembrance Day is almost upon us and this is my tribute for the fallen heroes of the United States. War is terrible no matter what the reason or what country you live in and we must never forget the sacrifices made by the brave servicemen and women and their families.
I live in Australia, but I have spent so much time in the USA that it really does feel like home when I’m here.
These are two of my own photos taken on our travels, combined in Photoshop. One photo was taken during the Changing of the Guard at Arlington Cemetary in Virginia, the other was one of the many huge flags flown at the beautiful visitor centres in each state.
