This is beautiful, AM. Even with a compact you take stunning shots. Is this how it looks now, already?? BTW, sold the Bigma lens. Guess what I’ve just ordered. I pick it up tomorrow. I’m so excited!!!:)
A.M. Ruttle replied
HI Ann, I’m so excited for you! You’re going to LOVE the new lens!! p.s. what a delightful comment! It’s not snowy like this yet, we are in early-mid fall, phew! The snow will be here soon enough :-).

Wow! Love this AM!! I think I might hide in Ann’s suitcase (do you think she will notice?!!) lol!!
Fave!
A.M. Ruttle replied
Do it, Vicki!

Thats good. Another 4 weeks and we should be there. Pete loves the snow. How many sweaters should we bring? And how many will we need to wear all at once???:D
A.M. Ruttle replied
Glad you like the snow; you will most likely get a dose of it… snow forecast for this coming Thursday! Hmm, how many, hard to tell!

Love the composition – the mountains speak for themselves, but the fenceline is the clincher.

Love winter, and this scene is serene and magnificent at the same time. Terrific fence angle and capture of the truly grand peak.

Beautifully done. The fence looks like it wants to be a fence!!

Thanks Bob, and for dropping by! We spend a lot of time in the Rocamadour area, and savoring cabécou, now called Rocamadour!
Phillip Weyers
A beautiful part of the world, I’ll bet you get some good photo opportunities at Yellowstone too?
A.M. Ruttle replied
Hi Phillip, I’m so glad you stoppy by… it took me about 1 second to decide to hit the “add to watchlist” button after seeing your work! Yes, YS is close by (though huge), and GTNP feels like part of my backyard… I got to hang out with a huge bull moose and his mate this morning, at times, gulp, just 30’ away. Good thing the rangers weren’t right there!
Barb White
awesome shot – congrats on your feature!
A.M. Ruttle replied
Thanks so much, Barb!!

Thanks so much, Pamela! I love your “Bird Friendly”... around here we have to hang our feeders high and away from the trunks of trees because of bears!
