Silly Smilin' Shoebill by

This was one of the strangest animals I saw at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. The Shoebill, also known as Whalehead, is a very large stork-like bird. It derives its name from its massive shoe-shaped bill. It stands between 4’ – 5’ tall.
To see his face close up check out Teresa B. photo
We were there together having a GREAT time!
