Watercolour using Artists watercolours on 140lb cold pressed paper
In Spring the daffodils stand out against the rough dry stone walls of the Cotswolds. I like the contrast. This is a reposting as I realised the image wasn’t big enough before for prints etc.! (Not for sale as a card as Medici cards took the design for a greeting card.)
What a beautiful image of my favourite flower! They remind me of cups of sun and are just bringers of such joy! This will bring my much joy whenever I want to see them!
They are the very first things that place colour back into our garden every year Ann. I think I needed a good dose of “here’s what coming up.” Gorgeous watercolour.
