Photo summarising a flower painting workshop. Here are all the elements of a workshop…examples of the real flowers, photographic reference, the drawing, materials and the finished painting. Pansies are really perfect little flowers. They have inbuilt contrast with those dark splodges on their faces as if smeared with blackberry jam! I love having them in the garden and painting them.
One of my all time favourite flowers Ann, I used to tell my mother when I was a child they had little faces on them. I just adore how you have set this out. An instant favourite for me.
