I love these flowers, the shapes of the lily pads and the way they lie on the water. Also the leaf colours and the pristine white waxy petals against the dark blue green watery depths.

Thank you Marsha…I don’t know, I just kept looking and looking and trying to reproduce the effect. I do like painting water, the trouble is you have to do the rest of the scene around it too and landscape isn’t my favourite! So this was a good opportunity…must do more water lilies when I get the time.
