Snowy snowdrops by

Watercolour and acrylic ink. 15×12cm W and N artists on Saunders Waterford 200not.
I like to get the white snowdrops and snow flurries to contrast with the dark background. These flowers often stand out against the bare Winter earth on a cold January day.

Nice touch, adding the snow. Lovely work here.

Your snowdrop paintings are all wonderful, you’re making me want to paint snowdrops! They’re all coming out inot flower at the moment here…me thinks I should get painting :)

  • Thank you. The thing is if you use masking fluid, you can really forget the background apart from dropping in some juicy colours! Yes…get painting!
