Watercolour. 36×25cm W and N artist’s on Saunders Waterford 140not. These clematis grow over my studio wall in early Spring. I like their dark greeny crimson foliage which contrasts with the pink blooms. Plenty of opportunity for finding negative shapes in the background. This is a step by step demo in my blog.
