Makhpiya-luta, Red Cloud is one of the people I most admire. He was a Naitve American and sacrificed much for his people. There is alot of emotion here. He was blind and felt a broken man at this time in his life.

I drew it while at the Boston Public Library. I was listening with headphones to music from the Library of Congress recordings. It may have been from Red Cloud’s nation, or another branch of the Teton. In any case, there was a vibe with the drum and voices.
