Taken from the top of Ganoga Falls in Rickett’s Glen. Ganoga falls is the tallest fall in this area, measuring 94 feet. If you look closely you can see people at the bottom of the falls. Whew! That’s a LONG ways!
Beautiful, Ann! That is a tough shot to get …I know, Iver tried several times. You did a wonderful job of capturing the energy of the water and the feeling of the great distance to the bottom.
Good decision to take the less direct route to the bottom!!! LOL
Ha! Yes, it was a rather awkward angle to get…but I managed, and even stayed dry. :) I couldn’t have gotten it that well without the 16-35, that’s for sure (as opposed to the 24-105mm f4L IS I was using last time).
Indeed! Kinda scary. :) I made sure not to make any quick moves. I always feel really doplic (is that how ya spell that? lol) with my camera on a tripod. Ha!

I think this is one I was standing over and shooting. Very humbling from way up top.
That’s for sure! Quite impressive.
