God's Country

God's Country

Located between Dillon and Twin Bridges, Montana, this scene drew me in as my husband and I traveled. Such a peaceful scene…as far as the eye can see! I believe those are the Pioneer Mountains in the background.

I like the watering system they use out there. I remember seeing the same in California when I was in the service. Beautiful shot of the mountains.

Hi, friend! Yes, that’s irrigation. The land wouldn’t grow anything worthwhile without it! : ) I’m working on submissions for Montana Outdoors Magazine. Hope they like some of them!

I’m sure they will, good luck and let me know how you make out! I’ll send for a copy :)

  • Ann Rodriquez replied

Thanks, Eric! I’m excited to send off my CD but then I think of the 400 other photographers that will be sending in pictures too and I get a little discouraged. Six hours of editing for potentially nothing. ; ) No, that’s a bad attitude. Either way, it was fun and a learning process, and I wanted to edit my MT pictures anyway!

Ah, what a glorious place you must live in! It has such a beauty that’s all its own, doesn’t it? Glad you’re blessed with a great view.

I definitely agree on the title of this one—God’s Country. I met and married the love of my life in Montana. We’ve since moved away, but I would love to move back some day.

  • Ann Rodriquez replied

Aww, that sounds like a great story! I’d love to hear more, if you want to share (including what part of MT). If you would rather bubblemail me, go for it. : )
