the curls
winter has been folded and shut in a draw with all the other winters i remember. the fabric of spring has been taken out and is shaking itself out, letting go the creases of memory, uncurling the curls of the season.

yes, one of the musings that clutter up my notebooks (actually they clutter up my computer but ‘notebook’ sounds more literary :).
