I have to ask Annie. What is the difference between a macro lens and a lens baby? Beautiful work!!!
I don’t have a macro lens Deborah, but the lensbaby has what they call a ‘sweet spot’ which is sharp and distorts and blurs from that spot. Check out their website at www.lensbaby.com. They have galleries there. The macro photos are achieved with their macro filter kit. I am hoping to get a macro lens soon! Does anyone have some recommendations? I’m leaning to the Tamron 90mm. I shoot with Nikon.
Love this one too!
Thanks so much! I have a few!
Beautiful print Annie!
Thanks so much David!
lovely work !
What a beautiful photograph Annie! The soft light and colour tones are absolutely delicious. The positioning of the branch in the frame is positively sweet!!
I’ve heard some fantastic things about the Tamron….people who own can’t say enough good about it.
Thank you for the lovely comment Holly. A macro lens has been on my wish list for a few years now, and yes, the Tamron does get a wonderful rap.
Thank you Karin!
Glorous, Annie! I’ve been thinking about getting a lensbaby! Is it difficult to use? What do you think! The results are great! ;o)
Thanks so much Krys! All I can say is I love my lensbaby. Not all images work out but that’s life. It takes a little getting used to as it is ‘old school’, there is no metering with some cameras, so if you are used to using ‘manual’ settings you’ll be fine. If you are an ‘auto’ person, it might take a little longer. I’m sure you would love it and have no problem using one Krys.
Beautiful, as always.
