Faded Beauty of the Flower

Faded Beauty of the Flower

From youthful radiance
in silence opens
Aging gracefully
as time defies
Silently fades
with loveliness still
Faded beauty of the flower

Parrot tulip as she ends her days

In younger days

It’s so seldom that a withered plant really works in a photograph (in my opinion) but you’ve created a beautiful art piece here with this oh-so-perfect background for this faded bloom. Lovely composition and a really fine hint of light on the yellow portions of the flower. You really do wonderful work Annie!!!!
