I spent most of the time on getting the contrast right on the colour version, so that it was soft, but that the shadows remained. I then converted to b&w using channel mixer, and played with tritones until I was happy. I thought it may have been a bit too pale in the blue tones, but it has had a really lovely response! The side lighting is natural window light, which is always so soft. My favourite light!
