my wonderful mum died aged 96years …and my world has changed…
beth was a great example to me and everyone that knew her. following her funeral several people said they wished they had known her…
she chose to be cremated and so we went first to the crematorium for a short service of comittal followed by a celebration of her life in church…then accross to the church hall for a buffett …fab food and lots of conversation with the children running round and enjoying the party…just beth’s style… oh i nearly let this be foregot…i arranged for red roses to be given to the children with love from beth …
they were delighted…

hesaid it is not so often the causethese days but mums body simply wore out xx

Oh Sweetheart, I am so very sorry, but I know she must have been special because you are her daughter, she will never be truly dead so long as you and others think of her. I created this thinking about my own Mum, I hope it helps,

the service you’ve discribed cremation, celebration, food, people stating they’d wished they’d known her mirror my own mothers when she passed in August 2000. Your mother lived very long that is wonderful!!!! and she will continue to live in you which is beautiful. Our love never stops it continues and grows…we will see our mothers again sister…we know this.

Dear Annie, this reminds me of the funeral of my Granny in Canada! My Grandma always wanted us to celebrate life and that was the theme of her funeral. It fited so well and it´s a nice feeling to think of her and remember my visits!

God bless her soul..be with you for guidance and give you the strength you need.i know what it is like loosing loved ones. I lost my Dad at age 65 yrs and one of my twins at 2 days old and the other at age 28 yrs old..day by day..it never leaves you but time may heal the wounds, for me it has been very painful..praying for you and your family!
