Acrylic on canvas painting.
Inspired by the Portugeuse artist Paula Rego, I have put my own spin on a famous nursery rhyme.

I think this is a great painting, Anni. I like the atmosphere of innocence in it. The composition is very strong, it is vivid, alive and very telling.

I enjoy painting faces, one is never quite sure how they will turn out…it is always a challenge, glad you like it.

Cathleen it was a challenge trying to paint the hands on this…as they were holding knitting needles…good practise though :) Thanks for your support.

A great design! I love the sheep in the trees and the cat with its ball of wool!
