Hi Barbara, Yes…this cat doesn’t get out much LOL! A bit of a bookworm tell the truth. My mum used to paint flowers like this on greetings cards years ago…if she is looking down…I am sure she will be smiling. Yes, I think Bella here will drop a few rungs on the karma ladder each time she catches a canary. Thank you ~ Anni xxx

Hello Patricia, yes I like to give them (the cats) some background. Unlike Milo I painted a short while ago, this one is purly fictious but gives the painting a context and I enjoy weaving a wee story. Good to see your back ~ Anni xxx

Thanks, I like the painting but hate packing up paintings to send away. Fortunately one of the exhibitions is local so I am spared that. :))

Hello Vicky, I have a small wooden shelf unit in the hallway with a collection of these lovely old books. Their spines are beautiful faded colours, some with the most intricate detailing. Then when you open them and read them…the speech is so precise and dated. It is like going back in time. I love those old chintzy fabrics and papers, so wanted to incorporate them too.
