The Gift

This is one I painted in memory of my late mother who loved flowers…here I give her the biggest bunch imaginable. She taught me so much about plants/flowers…and also the love of art, my first teacher.
This one is for you mum.

Thanks so much for your supportive comments…I wish the file for this was larger…unfortunately this was painted before the latest camera was bought :( Yes, definitely the biggest bunch of flowers I’ve ever seen.

Well I wasn’t meaning it to be…but now you mention it. Some childhoods were spent at my Uncles’s in Dover, Kent…so expect it is a mix with the cliffs and the peninsula :)
