Full Glass

Full Glass

Not half full, or half empty….but full!
Taken at a gem of a little restaurant called Fleur’s Place. perched on the edge of an idyllic bay further up the coast.
As the sun shone through the window onto the glass I was drawn to its reflections and the mellow warmth of the wooden table on which it stood. Sometimes we over look the simple beauty around us.
It also set me thinking that it is how we perceive ourselves and our lives…seeing your glass/life as full will make it that way.

Beautiful shot! Your detailed description brings this picture to life! I also love the range of reflections and tones, and how they add to the abstract qualities of this lovely image.

Too true – we miss too much in life by being in a hurry. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder … some people behold it, others just don’t, sadly.

This one is great too. Very subtle still life. Like your description too. I think it is true what you write; but sometimes I forget it.
