Hi Trevor thanks for looking and commenting on my work. What comes first…the painting or the words? That is tricky to answer because I think it can happen both ways. I do love words (I teach literacy and like word games)...and I often hear a phrase in conversation or read something in a magazine…and think to myself yes, that would make a good title for a painting and then I think a bit more and a few visions come into my mind, I might make a rough sketch and later produce a painting from it. So perhaps on reflection it is the words…they may even be heard in a poem or song. They seem to go hand in hand for me. I do enjoy making people smile too, I appreciate your interest. ~ Anni :D
