Memory of Elephant
As well as playing around with art materials, it is fun to play with words. I’ve always been fascinated by them, especially collective nouns e.g. a bike of wasps, a smack of jellyfish. These four guys can be a ‘memory of elephants’.
I wanted to create an elephant picture on paper using ink and line, this is what came up out. Coloured pencils were also used.
Inspiration again was from a small paper-mache elephant my brother had given me (bought back from a holiday he had in Goa last year).
