Cathy
I love a lot of your work, lots of energy. This one’s my fave though!
Anni Morris
Cathy, I have always admired Frida Kahlo…her work, her relentless spirit…even though so much of her life was spent in pain and physical restriction. Here I have aimed to set her free of all those earth bound barriers…so she can fly and be close to nature which she loved so dearly. :) Cheers

Anni all your paintings are acts of devotion that’s apparent -can’t pick a favourite [Bluenuns is smash] but this one stands out immediately for me-just such daring [albeit successful] color
If Frida were to see it she would love it [and admire the daring too]. Although none of her paintings look like this you’ve definitely captured and heralded her spirit
