Four Little Elephants

On heavy cartridge paper.

I wasn’t sure whether to put this on here, it was an experiment this week. I used coloured pencils, watercolour paint and ink to create these images on paper. Elephants are such amazing animals (I have a small collection of them – ornaments of course).

Hi Catherine, Strange you should mention that…I was thinking along the lines of a fabric design myself….when I was working on it. It has a kind of roughness to it. The kind that you might find on calico or Indian muslin perhaps. I have to make an admission here too. I am a fabric hoarder. I have been better these last few years though. I just love colours and textures so much. Bedroom theme is Indian, dark red walls. Thanks Catherine. :))
