Hi Geoff, Well Klimt provides great inspiration, as do many of the artists I have a fondness for including Marc Chagall, Matisse, Modigilani, Frida Kahlo to mention but a few. When you read about them and look closely at their work…one can’t help but be in awe.

Love this. When I worked for the Art Group some years back, we sold and framed thousands of Klimts. Brings back some fond memories.

I was both happy and sad when I sold this. Sad because it was a ray of sunshine on my wall and almost glowed…I could loose myself in it’s colour and detail. Happy, because it sold before the art exhibition even opened, was sold to another artist who really wanted it…and the money came in useful. Glad it brings you fond memories Robert. :) ~ Anni

Wonderful detailed work. So colourful. The works by Klimt are so inspirational. I adore all those wonderful patterns. So have executed this so well. A wonderful homage to the great Master. :)

Hi madvald,I liked your painting so wanted to comment. I think we all have heaps to learn from the Great Masters. Matisse was magical with his use of colour. His painting The Open Window, Collioure..is a particular favourite of mine. In it he makes full use of bold colour. I think giving your nude your own spin has resulted in a marvellous painting. Look forward to seeing more of them.

I love Gustav Klimpt also, but have never tried to do something as beautiful and alive as this!!
