While painting this work The Questioning, I experienced all the emotions of the red and orange centres of the body. Base emotions of self-doubt, uncertainty and questioning.

As I was painting, I pondered on what window had I opened? It was an interesting time of observations and reflection – a definite looking back into the past.
These were the very questions that I hope the viewer will make.

I asked myself a question as I was working on this piece – “Do we need to enter the void first before we can experience the emotions of feelings”?

To me, the black represents The Void……….. The void beyond feelings
