Thanks Ginny – I’ve applied for it to be included in the APBT Lovers Group. After I finished this painting, the title came to me immediately without any thought at all. Even though I painted this, every time I look at it, together with the title, it makes me fill with tears for the terrible and indefensible killing of so very many innocent dogs.

Many thanks Brenda. Yes, as you say, thank goodness she was saved. Her owner fostered her and then adopted her and also managed to save her sister from being killed and took her to an adoption event where she was adopted by a loving family.

That’s wonderful – thank you Ginny. Thank you too Pam – I hope I conveyed both total honesty and vulnerability in her sweet eyes. A plea not to be killed – yes, hence the title.
