Lorus Maver suggested I tired Langton Watercolour paper, I think my style of painitng suits this paper, this was the first time I’d used it.

    Sure is !! I used caput mortuum violet with a touch of indanthrene blue and a touch of magnesium brown. I really had fun with this painting…..glad you like it Lyn….anna : )

    I like the Langton, but more so the tinted bockingford (although both are very overpriced). You’ve done a good job here, Annette.

    I use 20 sheets for a quid, from Pound World, A4 size, which makes the princely sum of 5p per sheet!!! It has a linen look to it, which enhances the painting texture.
    Unfortunately, Poundworld don’t flog it anymore :-(

    No more than the overpriced stuff. It’s a big money-making racket.
    For any real artist can paint something decent, on anything, with a 2p brush.

    All my best paintings are on the cheap stuff, – (you can see them in my gallery quoted at 90lb paper) and using 3 quid, pan sets.
