Old and New City
I was going to put either this picture or the hdr picture of the face of luna park into the sydney now competition, as I can only enter one picture I need some help choosing.
Any advice as to which one?

Both great shots but I like the Luna Park one better. I like the colours, the angle and the sky of the Luna Park one.

That’s a hard choice Annette, both are superb. I think the Luna Park image has the edge because it is definitively ‘Sydney’ whereas the other has no easily recognizable Sydney icon. BTW where was the ir shot taken? Love the use of the ornate carving in the foreground.

They are both great shots, but looking at the one of the skyline, i didn’t actually know it was sydney, i think i prefer the luna park one aswell, the city looks unknown to me. But, as i said, they are both fantastic shots!

oh sorry margo, it was taken in the park at the side of goverment house just near elizabeth st (I think that was the street, I was wandering around for a while so I might have gotten mixed up with street names) I’ll check the street directory to be sure for you.

love them both but SPECIALLY love Luna Park because a. you have done a marvellous job of it and b. it is iconic and easily recognised.
