Artist's Description

This is a beautiful building that tells the story of this seaside town. Once a thriving and energetic seaside resort, now in need of repair. The decline of this city began with race riots of the 60s and experienced further decay with the newly energized Atlantic City in the 70s when Gambling became legal. Although many attempts have been made to restore this town to its former glory, until now, none ever showed any real promise. But like this fantastic structure, their is so much good and possibility in this seaside town. Recently some legitimate restoration has occurred and for once people believe Asbury Park will rise again. This structure is Convention Hall. It is attached via the boardwalk to the beautiful Paramount Theater. (This is the location Bruce Springsteen has used to launch his last two albums)

If you approve, I will post additional photo’s from this architecturally diverse seaside town.
