Ohhhh I have missed your work, Anne. This is extreme minimalism at its best. :) I’ve been over-capacitated with 6 college classes going on at the same time (loooooads of essays) but lately, I’ve found myself thinking more and more about your in-camera impressioniam. I’m inspired. :) I’ve always loved long exposure, and have dabbled around with that and phto-impressionism over the years, but haven’t disciplined myself in the area at all. perhaps soon. :) You are the best in that area, without a doubt, and, my favourite. :) I’ll be getting a new cam (Canon 50D) and a few new lenses next month- maybe I can practice up! Love your work!
Thank you very much Birgitta! I shot so far all my long exposure + camera movement shots with my 50D and two lenses – I wrote a bit about it but haven’t done much experimenting since… you actually inspired me with your comment to get out and do more of them!! :) re Deep in the forest my aim is to get another one as good..which is a challenge!… in the blog you’ll see that for people for instance the light needs to be behind them for trees/lines I find it’s best if the light is on the subject (I don’t like trails-lights coming through) – the settings for Deep in the forest are posted here – again thank you so much for your comments :)

Oh believe me, I’v already combed through that blog ages ago, picking it apart. heheh..I have loved long exposure + impressionism for so long (years) and I remember first seeing your work (years ago) and my jaw dropped. It’s not for everybody, I know. Some people are like, “Huh…yeah…that’s nice. Next!” But for me- it’s like a drug. I don’t do much of it, as you know, it’s not the easiest of techniques. But I know where the motherlode is when I need to get my fix. ;) hehe…take care!
Congratulations!! You are a TOP TEN WINNER in the Monochrome – Yellow Anything But Flowers challenge in the "Monochrome in Color group (click on banner to go to challenge)
