EXHIBITION OF IMAGES IN LAUNCESTON
For those around in Launceston during April and over Easter, I am having an exhibition of some of my images taken of the Tamar River and Coastal Tasmania on and from the 9th April at Blue Cafe at Inveresk, just over the Tamar Street Bridge, near central Launceston (turn right at the roundabout into Inveresk precinct, Blue is on the left, opposite the Univesity gallery). A great place to go for lunch or a coffee.
The exhibition will be open for 4-6 weeks and images are for sale at the coffee shop. Anyone around Launceston is welcome to call in to have a look and enjoy some of Blue’s hospitality. However, it should be noted, that lunchtimes are extremely busy and if you plan on having lunch with a group, it would be wise to book a table.
This exhibition was an extension to the group one we had in Stanley and was decided upon after I assisted in co-ordinating an exhibition at Blue during the Australian Photographic Society’s conference in Launceston last September. From a personal point of view, it also helps to keep my name visible in my home town, as well as allow some wall space to show off my work to the public.
Oh for a permanent gallery !!!! One can only dream.

Sounds beaut, Anne. I suppose we all dream of hanging our stuff on a regular basis, and it’s great to see people taking the step and giving it a go. Good luck.
