Gosh this os a first for me, what a beautiful colour.
Thank you very much, Malcolm – so glad you like it. This is one of my very favourite Australian Eucalypts – have just planted one myself and look forward to seeing what colour the flowers will be. :)
Thank you, Jan – lucky to have it so close to our fence. They also have a very sick Pink Flowering Gum next to it, but this year, it has sprouted lots of new growth AND one tiny bunch of pink gum blossoms. :)
Still loyal to the a200 and why not when it takes such good photos. These are flowering nicely over here now and I keep meaning to get out and photograph one or two. Did you ever get to Ficifolia Road near Peaceful Bay in the south west of WA? That will be an absolute picture right now. Hugs Peter
Oh yes, Peter! After my horrible fall in Tasmania a couple of years ago, when both myself and the camera took a nasty tumble on the rocks at the Tesselated Pavement, I remain loyal to my trusty A200!! She has never missed a beat since that day and I am really happy with the camera. :)
Can’t recall being to Ficifolia Road – bet it looks super! xx
Very nice work. You have caught the colour very well.
There are a red and a pink version of these in a street not too far away. I must pull digit out and go and capture them before they finish blooming.
Thank you Odille – I really appreciate your constructive commentary. :) Would love to see some of your shots of this beautiful tree – the pink one in the neighbours garden is a bit sick and sad, but maybe I’ll try to capture the single little bunch of pink blossoms over the weekend. :)

Lovely pic, Anne-Marie. Have seen the flowering gum out in full bloom lately and they look brilliant. :)
Cheers, Darren – yeah, the old flowering gum rarely disappoints. ;)
