This was following a short and intensive electrical storm that passed over us late in the day and I kept watching this beautiful big pink cloud over Mount Yarrahappini and managed to capture one of the few lightning bolts still emitting from the cloud.
What a great result you managed here! VERY impressive. I’ve never tried lightning shots myself but am told that the way to go is to stick your camera on a tripod and leave the shutter OPEN until you capture something. Hugs Peter
Peter, thank you! All I did was stand there with the camera on the tripod, going ‘click click click’ until I managed to capture a few good ones with the lightning!! Can’t recall what settings I used but I was chuffed with the outcome!
