Grevillea 'Firesprite' by

One of my favourite new plants in the garden – it has done so well since I ‘rescued’ it from dying in a cramped pot! Can’t wait for the next burst of flowers!

It is very attractive now so it is a mouth watering prospect to have some full flowering shots to look forward to.

  • Thanks again Peter – will be flooding the Grevillea group eventually as I have several growing once again, as we did in Bowral! ;)

Lovely photo of a lovely grevillea.

  • Thank you, Bette – it is my very favourite in the garden at the moment. It has such a beautiful growing habit and is such an elegant shrub – can’t wait for more flowers. :)

Anne-Marie, I THOUGHT your grevillea was one of my favourites, and it IS. Have just found the plant tag for my grevillea called ’ longistyla’. I had two huge bushes in my old garden and have been nursing along a new one in my new,clay-soile garden at my new house. It bloomed when very small and new buds are appearing now, so I feel very happy. Couldn’t have a garden without it!

  • Hello again, Bette! The beautiful ‘Firesprite’ Grevillea is a X between G. longistyla and G. venusta – here’s more about it for you information. :) http://www.smgrowers.com/products/plants/plantd...
