RB bubble site spam - anyone else? by Anne-Marie Ladegaard

Posted on October 22, 2010

Hi
I have in the last 24 hours had 3 spam emails in my gmail inbox that have come through Red Bubble via my Bubblesite, but I am not sure why or how I can stop them. They are not the standard type of spam, but a whole lot of gobbledygook scrambled letters that make absolutely NO sense! Like this:

wb97Pp ktlplcjexsdq, ttuvxrwkxeul, [link=http://omfmsqiivuru.com/]omfmsqiivuru[/link], http://ohqqwimcdglb.com/

Have any other members reported similar instances?

Cheers,
Anne-Marie

Touch wood, no – at least not yet! I imagine you’ve reported this to RB. Good luck with solving it and please let me know the outcome Anne-Marie.
    Hugs

Yes, I have reported it, Peter – I was just curious whether anyone else has had this happen. :) Have disabled my email contact on my bubblesite for now.

I havent had any Anne-Marie. Might have to run your virus scan and place those particular emails or click on them and report them as spam on your gmail account.

  • Anne-Marie Lad...:

No worries there, Sal – fortunately I have the latest Apple iMac, with fantastic anti-virus IF I need it, but I never have any problems!

    BTW..dont open them!

  • Anne-Marie Lad...:

I opened them safely without clicking on the links… and they are empty! :)
