“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD.
I feel with any artwork it is interesting to find out why or how the artist came to do their painting. In that light, this painting originated with a desire to paint Jeshua as he is depicted in Zechariah 5. Jeshua or Jesus is given new clothes and a new turban. I had wanted to capture this so I prayed to God for help and also asked Jesus as well for help. I always knew God was a bit comedic but now I can attest that they both have a rather unusual sense of humor. Instead of capturing a sweet shepherd Savior as a portrait, I captured quite the opposite, an anti Christ so to speak. I would not have painted this intentionaly that is why I call this upside down.
I feel Philippians 3 and Zechariah 5 will duly help to understand this piece.
We eagerly await the Savior from heaven The Lord Jesus Christ. So Stand Firm in the Lord, my dear friends.
I will understand if you reject this from any group.
