A Thank You card my nephew Kevin sent me inspired this watercolor painting.
Just as these two flowers are similar, they are also different. Both flowers are pretty, even though one may be more brilliant than the other. Yet both are in the same vase adorning the table.
The recent current events have me thinking. We need to be more thoughtful, more considerate of one another. We need to be more thankful and less hypocritical. We need to be united on our commonalties and not prideful nor vengeful. We need to stop biting into the lie of division. We want to be people who can think for themselves and not be sheep. Don’t believe everything that is thrown at your brain. Let no one deceive you. Are we so stupid as to let evil spirited people turn us into hostile, hateful animals? Each person at this time has the freedom to think what he or she want. But we must filter out what is forced into our brains. Each of us must decide what we want to accept and keep in our hearts. We need to keep the good and throw out the bad. Are we to let corrupt people with their own personal agenda decide for us? Or are we individuals who exercise our freedom to think on our own. We must guard our hearts. If we let evil thoughts sit in our mind, we will produce evil deeds. Then you will not be better than vicious animals. This is exactly the plan. Then there will be a take over, a curfew imposed and an enforcement that will enslave us from big brother. They are already telling you what to think. Don’t respond to the lies. Don’t hate one another but love one another. Don’t let evil take us back to the dark ages. Force yourself to think good things about your brothers. Let’s be loving, neglect your former actions, and replace it with kindness and understanding. Let only thoughts that will produce good will toward men take the major stage in your own brain. Then no one will be able to so to speak “pull the wool over your eyes”. These actions will benefit everyone who applies them. Only then will we see true unity and a healing of hearts.
