Artist's Description

John a prophet sent by God, he was the real deal. He was Jesus’ cousin and sent to be the messenger to prepare the way for Christ Jesus the Lord. So John went to the dessert preaching repentance and water baptism. He baptized in the Jordon River, teaching how to repent or basically to radically change one’s life of sin to prepare for the kingdom of God. John publicly announced the arrival of Jesus the Savior, the son of God has come. John’s ministry was to serve God, he stood for God in everything he did. His life was to fulfill the purpose God had for him. He lived and died for truth. Even his food and clothing were a visual protest to self indulgence and sin.
Matt 3, Mark 1, and Isaish40:3 Luke 1,John 1:14 -34 and more records of the interesting life he lead.
To learn how to be saved “The Bible” has that information. Romans 10:9-10. To live a life pleasing to God, we need to know what God expects or says, it is all written in his word –the Bible.
Dedicated to those whose desire is to serve Almighty God and look forward to the return of his son Jesus Christ. ♥

Painted in watercolor on 9×12″ watercolor paper.
