Daniel and the Lions
Daniel distinguished himself among the administrators of his time to be exceptional. Daniel was a great man of God. He was trustworthy and no corruption was found in him. He worked hard and was never negligent.
King Darius had slain the last King (the one who saw the writing on the wall) and took over. He had plans to set Daniel up in a high position. The other officials were extremely jealous of Daniel and were cooking up a scheme to get him in any kind of trouble they could. So they made a law and had the King sign it. Knowing Daniels loyalty to his God, they made this law specifically so Daniel could not pray to his God.
Their plan worked and Daniel was caught praying to his God. The penalty for this was death in the lion’s den. What evil men these where to do such a thing.
So, Daniel was thrown in the lion’s den but an angel of God shut the mouths of the lions.
It’s a great story and for all the sorted details see Daniel 6 in the Old Testament of the Bible.☺
Song(notice the little dog on stage)
Is what we see going on in our government today any different. God is being removed from our land. There are regulations and laws being passed for a while now that are taking away our freedom of religion. They are taking away many of our other rights at every turn. See what else is happening.
We need to be alert and on guard because diabolical plans are being hatched as we sleep.
