Artist's Description

European Bee-eater
From Wikipedia

This species, like other bee-eaters, is a richly-coloured, slender bird. This is a bird which breeds in open country in warmer climates. Just as the name suggests, bee-eaters predominantly eat insects, especially bees, wasps and hornets which are caught in the air by sorties from an open perch. Before eating its meal, a European Bee-eater removes the sting by repeatedly hitting the insect on a hard surface. It eats some 250 bees daily. These bee-eaters are gregarious, nesting colonially in sandy banks, preferably near river shores, usually at the beginning of May.
Painted in watercolor on paper with some metallic paint and sharpie marker on paper 9×123”.
Bees can be beneficial for various reasons. We need bees(and other pollinating insects)because they are one of the major reasons why you have plants. Bees are very important to any garden. Bees also make honey and that is a nice sweet treat. But bees can also be dangerous. Now we have a strain of killer bees. Or you can be allergic to being stung by a bee, in which case you could die from it, if you do not receive medical care, immediately.
It brings to mind as usual God’s word. The Call for redress against our enemies and the wicked people who oppress us.
Psalm 10:15 Break the arm of the wicked man; call the evildoer to account for his wickedness that would not otherwise be found out.
Break thou the arm of the wicked – The arm is the instrument by which we effect a purpose, and especially in wielding a sword or a spear, as in battle;and if the arm is broken, they are powerless. The psalmist, therefore, prays that God would render the wicked, in this respect, powerless. Call them{ the evil ones} into account.
Psalm 5:10 Declare them guilty, O God! Let their intrigues be their downfall. Banish them for their many sins, for they have rebelled against you.
Psalm 31:24 Be strong and take heart,
all you who hope in the LORD.
Psalm 31:23 Love the LORD, all his faithful people!
The LORD preserves those who are true to him,
but the proud he pays back in full.
Romans 12:19
Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.
So I see many times in Psalms prayer for God to take care of his children by dealing with the adversary as they deserve.
Times are strange !!!!☺
