Tarn Hows – Lake District National Park – UK.
We spent two wonderful days exploring Tarn Hows, – one of the most beautiful places in The Lake District National Park. The weather was unpredictable, and over the two days I think we experienced all four seasons. Here the morning mist was stunning, although it almost completely obscured the view of the far mountains.

Darling Rosie – thank you. The weather here in England is dire at the moment – gales and torrential rain, so it is so nice to dee this and remember the peace and tranquility there.

Wow, this is just so serene and peaceful. I really have to take a drive up to the lakes one day – I can’t understand why I have never been there – I have always wanted to visit, but keep putting it off I suppose.
Hi Julie, thank you so much. The lakes are stunning, but you really need to be in place for a photo either early in the morning or late evening – as the light is wonderful then and the crowds don’t arrive until later (or earlier!!)
