The Second in The Imaginary Kingdom series.

I love this one, largely because it was such fun to create, and because as soon as I had finished it, I realised my grandson, who is crazy about animals, would love it for his bedroom wall. He is 19mths old, and his biggest pleasure is to imitate all the animal noises.

This was the music going around and around in my head whilst I was creating this image.

Johnny Cash -Five Feet High and Rising ( The Great Flood Music)

This was created in Photoshop CS4 – and was a real labour of love. I ended up with about 70 layers!
Two backgrounds were merged together, colour balanced, and painted over where necessary. The animals were cut out and blended in, using many duplicate layers for each one, with a range of blending modes and colour corrections. The image was finally texturised with canvas.
