… I’ve just done my first craft event at a Harvest Festival celebration in a local church and I made lots of my photos into cards to sell along with other hand-made cards I have made and I sold about 60 cards over the weekend! All the money I am giving to the two breast cancer research charities I support so I am really pleased with the amount raised. And like RB people I was encouraged by the friendly people and the positve response to my photos – these things help to keep me going when my head gets the better of me.

Thank you Rosalie. I’m sending about 90GBP for this to the charities and then on Friday because it is Breast Cancer Awareness month I had a little ‘Wear it Pink’ open house and sold some more cards and received donations so also about 75GBP also which wasn’t bad considering I know very few people to invite to such things. I tried collecting for a Mental Health charity and raising awareness at the same time but no-one was really interested and I felt very sad about that.
