(just a tad more tweeked with saturation and contrast this one … but I could not get the just right colour from the camera … might re-take at better light )
… this was painted over an old version of image based on John 21 – bible story, in fact my intention was to NOT do anything biblical with it this time …. anyway … I like meditating on this story often ….. and yesterday in addition I read also some nice thoughts from John O’Donohue … in his book of blessings he writes …. experience has it’s own secret structuring. Endings are natural. Often what alarms us as an ending can in fact be the opening of a new journey – a new beginning that we could never have anticipated and one which engages forgotten parts of the heart …… Oscar Wilde once said: “The supreme vice is shallowness. Whatever is realized is right.” When a person manages to trust experience and be open to it, the experience finds its own way to realization. …….

fishers, bible story, john 21, early morning, pink

I believe arts making creates connection between our inner and outer worlds.
I love the depth, the lightness, the playfulness, the seriousness and the inexpressibly sincere nature of relationships which tend to ‘just happen’ while sharing interests, passions and frustrations about art :)
