the sound of violin by

acrylics painting on canvas 120×60cm – please view large

…recently I had been fascinated by discovery of Arvo Part’s music and philosophy and also by some texts on ‘sound’ and our perception of it from writings of John O’Donohue …… so those are the sources ….. I also love listening to my daughter practicing her pieces every day (yes almost everyday) …she is a very good player and ever since she first started she always made sure to produce the best sound possible..so there never was a time of some “painful” noise ……. the fact that it is a practice makes the music very "present’…. I myself do not play any instrument so I have a lot of admiration for anyone who does ……..

About annamora

hhhhhmmmmm ….. all my works are for sale as RB products, I just really dislike that red button which says ‘buy it’ straight under my work …. so I took it off on most of them by now … but if you’d really like to buy print of any of my work, let me know and I will fix it …….

  • thank you very much Elena …. those colours are not exactly a match but close enough …. thank you for saying that they are melodious ..I actually did not think of it yet …..

    beautiful imagery…
    it conveys passion
    and somehow you seemed to
    reflect it’s power to redeem…
    to transform
and to take you to new places
    and still further still
i am able to grasp that there is something
    even greater to be realized…
how it feels to be the instrument in which the music is born
for without the spirit called human
    it would cease to exist
    ….
    so i ramble
    shows i was moved
