well …. so you knew it already :) it’s so telling to actually do this as an experiment ….. in a way it encourages me …. even though it is sad too – of course ….. so it’s true : one cannot rely on mainstream behavioural patterns to reflect a real value : that is a conclusion I make for myself from this ….. :))
Taken out of context people just alienate themselves from culture, unless of course its the culture of rapid economic growth. Wierd aint it, if there had been signs i have a feeling the outcome would be far different, almost like its an ironic sheep herder guiding the herds thru the doors to well trained and polished classical music-love Louis analogy strawberries to pigs, so apt!!!!LOL
“What is this world if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare?” (or in this case – ‘stand and listen’)! It caused a wry smile for me, but it made me feel sad. However, my faith was restored by the woman who spoke to him at the end.
I was soooooo glad that one passerby stopped and realized the amazing artist who was performing. It was delightful for me to think just how much of a thrill it was for her….And so those who couldn’t let their ears hear above their rushing home or out didn’t seem to matter to me in the end. This was actually uplifting for me. xxx
this is incredible. thank you so much for sharing. it’s so tragic though. if it was a scantily clad woman single about bubblegum, that would have got a lot of attention. mainstream’s priorities are all wrong. the majority only know one thing, ‘me’ ism. thank goodness for the one woman who recognized him and adores his music. tragic and shameful to all the others.
I agree at the same time this helps one to know it really is the situation and therefore one needs to persevere in doing in what one knows has a value for one’s inner Truth – without expecting to be recognised for results …. :)

It’s not really surprising but to actually see this makes me wonder how much more of life we are missing… It’s very sad.
annamora:
