thank you William, it is only a small format work – but yes there is a lot of layering … acrylics allow for quick drying and I keep the hairdryer at hand too :)

Hi Annamora,
This image is totally striking to me. I echo that it should be featured. Wow! The parrots (are those Lorakeets – I think those are Australian parrots? am I right) just add such a profound touch to what you are saying. My senses, especially, are heightened by the parrot’s sounds.The transparent hands are stunning, reminds me of those hands that reach out (Moses and Adam?) can’t remember. Anyway, the acrylics and inks are striking. I use watercolor but long for the jazziness of the colors you use here. I am totally in awe of your creativity.
